Piazza del Popolo

Piazza del Popolo dates back to the 1400s. It is the main square of Cesena, home to the Palazzo Comunale; the sixteenth-century Fontana Masini; the Rocchetta di Piazza, a fine historic palazzo; the Loggetta Veneziana, which houses the Museo di Scienze Naturali; the weekly street market and the Fiera di San Giovanni. The centre of Cesena's social life, it is known among residents simply as Piazza.

Accessibility statement

Romagna.net should be usable by anyone, with any tool: keyboard, screen reader, magnification, phone. This page says where we actually stand, without rounding up.

Conformance status

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Conformance is partial: the checks made so far cover the code and the colours, and they do not replace testing with people who rely on assistive technology. Known limits are listed below.

How this statement was prepared

Self-assessment by the people who build the site, last updated on 1 September 2026. This is not the statement that the Italian AgID guidelines require of public bodies, which Romagna.net is not: it is a commitment we make anyway.
