The Romagna coast

The Romagna coast is a 90 km stretch of coastline on the Adriatic Sea, beginning at the mouth of the river Reno and ending at Gabicce Mare, in the Marche.
It runs through the province of Ravenna (the Ravenna lidos, Cervia), the province of Forlì-Cesena (Cesenatico, Gatteo Mare, Savignano Mare, San Mauro Mare) and the province of Rimini (Bellaria Igea Marina, Rimini, Riccione, Misano Adriatico, Cattolica).

One of the best known seaside areas in Italy, the coast ranges from the wild beaches of the Ravenna lidos to glamorous Milano Marittima and Riccione. In between lie Rimini, with its big summer events and entertainment for everyone, Cesenatico, with its strong seafaring tradition, and Cervia, whose beaches are dotted with pine woods and salt pans.
