Forlì is the ideal city to explore by bike: from the cycle path that follows the course of the river Montone, to the Musei San Domenico, to the old town with Piazza Saffi and the Basilica di San Mercuriale. Another route through history leads to the discovery of rationalist architecture, from Piazzale della Vittoria, along Corso della Repubblica or Viale della Libertà.
The area has other not-to-be-missed routes: from Forlì to Castrocaro Terme and Terra del Sole for a dip into history and thermal wellbeing, or towards Cesena, with its Biblioteca Malatestiana, a Unesco World Heritage site, passing through the lively Forlimpopoli, with its fourteenth-century Rocca, to reach the beautiful Bertinoro, a perfectly preserved medieval hill village with breathtaking views.
Along the coast you reach Cesenatico, with its equipped beach and its Porto Canale, designed with input from Leonardo da Vinci.
