Cattedrale di San Pietro Apostolo

The Cattedrale di San Pietro Apostolo is the cathedral of Faenza, seat of the Diocese of Faenza-Modigliana. Although its facade is unfinished, the cathedral is an outstanding example of Renaissance architecture in Romagna. Its imposing appearance comes from the staircase, which spans the entire width of the facade, and the three round-arched portals. Inside, the cathedral has the classic Latin-cross plan, 3 naves, 8 chapels along each side aisle and an imposing wooden choir behind the altar. The cathedral of Faenza overlooks Piazza della Libertà.

How this statement was prepared

Self-assessment by the people who build the site, last updated on 1 September 2026. This is not the statement that the Italian AgID guidelines require of public bodies, which Romagna.net is not: it is a commitment we make anyway.
