Montefiore Conca
Montefiore Conca is a hill village perched in the Tuscan-Romagnol Apennines, in the southern part of the province of Rimini. Its origins are very old, although it became important in the fifteenth century, with the war between the Malatesta and the Montefeltro, so much so that it is considered the medieval capital of the Conca valley. The symbol of the town is the castle, restored in the early 2000s: the building is well preserved, and inside you can also see the banqueting hall and the reconstruction of a bedchamber. Montefiore Conca is one of the Borghi più belli d’Italia.
