Noi. Museo della Storia e della Memoria
Noi. Museo della Storia e della Memoria is housed in the former public slaughterhouse of Bellaria Igea Marina. On display are objects and documents telling the story of Bellaria, from its origins to the moment it took on its tourist vocation. The museum also has a section devoted to the Roman era, with a mosaic floor built between the third and fourth centuries AD and several funerary objects, including a copy of a stele of Egnatia Chila Uxo.
Good to know
- The public slaughterhouse was built in 1926, and remained in use as such until the late 1970s. In 2004 it became a meeting place for associations and for promoting local culture and traditions. Since 2017 it has been home to Noi. Museo della Storia e della Memoria.
