Bertinoro
Bertinoro lies between Forlì and Cesena, on the lower slopes of the Forlì Apennines. It is a typical medieval hill village of old houses, town walls and towers. Bertinoro is also called the "balcony of Romagna", for the view that opens up all around, above all from Piazza della Libertà at its centre. The symbol of the town is the imposing tenth-century fortress, once home to Frederick Barbarossa and very well preserved, especially inside. In the hamlet of Fratta there are natural thermal baths drawing on 11 of the many springs in the area.
