Parco Archeologico del Colle Garampo

The Parco Archeologico del Colle Garampo is an archaeological park in Cesena. The site holds remains from the pre-Roman, Roman republican and Byzantine periods, along with traces of the medieval settlement. These are generally small and medium-sized private dwellings that were also used as shops and workshops.

Good to know

  • The excavations came to light in 1993 during a survey for the construction of car parks.
  • In 2005 a network of streets with drainage channels dating back to the Roman period was identified.
