Mirabilandia

From classic roller coasters to virtual-reality adventures: a unique experience made up of rides, shows and plenty of adrenaline.

Mirabilandia is Italy's largest theme park. Opened in July 1992, it has added ever more extreme, thrilling and exciting rides each year since. From classic roller coasters to virtual-reality adventures, via the stunt show “Scuola di Polizia”, Mirabilandia's offering spans rides, shows and more immersive experiences.

Good to know

  • Mirabilandia is both a water park (MiraBeach) and a theme park, divided into 5 areas: Far West Valley, Dinoland and Bimbopoli (for younger children), Adventurland, Route 66.
  • Mirabilandia covers a total area of 850,000 square metres, 285,000 of which make up the theme park.
  • On opening, the park was not an immediate success. In its first year it drew 600,000 visitors, against an expected 2 million.
  • Mirabilandia stands on the site of a former quarry.
  • Next to Mirabilandia is Zoo Safari Ravenna, a theme park dedicated to animals.
