Teatro Luigi Rasi
Teatro Luigi Rasi occupies a 13th-century church that was first deconsecrated under Napoleonic reforms, and later requisitioned as it was a place of worship. It changed use only at the end of the 1800s, becoming a theatre. The Chiesa di Santa Chiara, its original name, was a highly prized building; its 14th-century mosaics were detached and are now on display at the Museo Nazionale di Ravenna.
One curious detail: the stage was carved out of the apse.
