Lungomare delle piazze e delle fontane

The Lungomare di Misano Adriatico is a large pedestrian area running along almost the whole of the town's beach, on the border with Cattolica. For 2 km, right behind the beach, stretches a small “open-air lounge” with a street of coloured cobblestones, punctuated by little squares and distinctive water fountains. Particularly striking is Piazzale Roma, with a classic fountain and an infinity-edge fountain decorated with a large mosaic octopus. The whole area is well kept and, above all, closed to traffic, a feature that makes Misano an ideal destination for families with children choosing a holiday on the Romagna coast.
