Oasi faunistica e osservatorio ornitologico del Conca
Over 700 hectares across the Valconca, between the mouth of the River Conca and Morciano di Romagna, where visitors can observe various reptiles and rare birds.
The wildlife reserve covers over 700 hectares of the Valconca, between the mouth of the River Conca and Morciano di Romagna, also taking in the territories of Misano, Cattolica, San Giovanni in Marignano and San Clemente.
The reserve is home to the bird observatory (within the territory of Misano Adriatico), fitted with a series of viewing slits that allow visitors to watch the birds. Very rare species make their home in the wildlife reserve, including the black stork, the great white egret and the pelican.
Good to know
- Cycle and pedestrian paths run along both banks of the River Conca, covering the whole of the wildlife reserve.
- The observatory is dotted with information boards on the various bird species that can be spotted, aided by binoculars made available by the facility (on request).
- The observatory has a prefabricated structure with viewing slits for birdwatching hides.
